our birds and animals are provided with as natural a lifestyle
as possible. Aviary planting reflects the natural habitat of the
birds, and daily freedom is given to all the animals and whenever
we can.

When
you visit Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre you will enjoy a totally
different day out on Exmoor! Here
you can enjoy interaction with the owls, birds of prey and other
animals. We believe we have the one of the best collections
of flown owls in the country, with as many as 14 owls flown
throughout the day.
Five
miles west of Minehead, only a mile from the sea! A great
family day visit with lots to see and do... a place
to visit to be in touch with Nature.
A
unique visitor attraction within Exmoor National Park where
the birds come out to meet you, - huge fun, with interaction
at every level. Handle, marvel, discover and even fly the birds
for charity (usually available twice a day).

- Grooming donkeys and shetlands (school holidays only)*

3.30pm - Rainforest Owls in Medieval Barn
1.00 pm and 4.00pm - Fly an owl to the glove*

our 'Friends of Exmoor Owls and Hawk Centre' by adopting any
bird or animal for only £20 - you will receive a package
of a photo of your chosen friend, information about the animal,
a certificate, a plaque displayed at the Centre and a free entry
pass for one person for 2010.

Wander
through the cobbled yards and you will meet up with Perky
and Marley, our blue and gold macaws, and Milo, a friendly
Catalina macaw.Enjoy
our Owl Show in the World of Owls threshing Barn at 11.45
every day. Owls flying to music - amazing!You
must come and meet Rosie our Welsh Cob mare and Dula one
of our Shetland Ponies.
Discover our museum where you can also find an amazing collection
of old photos dating back to the 19th century, and enter
our World of Owls Barn for the morning Owl Show. In the
spring and summer of each year you may be able to enjoy
baby owls and other young birds of prey.... wander around
our new Paddocks area to make friends with the alpacas,
miniature donkeys, pygmy goats and more... Each
day you can enjoy the owls and hawks, which come to land
on your table, or play games in the display area. An amazing
day out awaits you here at Exmoor Owl & Hawk Centre.
